  • Highlight, as appropriate, the SRA Standards and Regulations 2019 (StaRs) especially the heightened significance of professional and ethical judgement
  • Highlight the need to consider risk at every stage of a client’s matter by highlighting key areas of concern for the Firm
  • Provide practical ‘takeaways’ for participants to implement on a daily basis

  • Be reminded of the importance of compliance with the Firm’s risk management procedures which underpin the SRA Principles and Handbooks as well as the Firm’s strategy;
  • Be more confident in their ability to consider more fully and make ethical and professional decisions consistent with the SRA Regulatory requirements;
  • Have an enhanced understanding of the key support mechanisms available to support them when considering and making appropriate risk management decisions; and
  • Know when to seek support and supervision whilst, in turn, providing proper levels of support and supervision to others.
