For trainees to develop simple and practical tactics and skills to increase our resilience and well-being in order to meet day-to-day demands

PSC and SQE Trainees

  • Understanding the nature and signs of stress and our personal reactions to it – both at work and at home 
  • Strategies and tactics to build resilience 
  • Taking back control of some elements of our digital world 
  • What is mindfulness and re-framing and taking control of our thoughts, feelings and actions 
  • Our personal well-being – ways in which we can best look after ourselves 
  • Developing a personal resilience action plan for a mindful life   

Outcomes:
The success measures of this course are:
  • To understand the importance of resilience in the workplace;  
  • To learn simple and practical skills of self-management to become more resilient; and 
  • To increase our ability to address personal wellbeing issues and thrive in our working environment     .
